19 - 1/2 cup toasted coconut flakes (optional)
# How to Make It:
01 - Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
02 - In a separate bowl, mix buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
03 - Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
04 - Preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
05 - For each polar bear, pour 1/3 cup batter to form the face and two 1 tablespoon portions for the ears. Cook until bubbles appear, flip, and cook until golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
06 - Arrange the large pancake as the face and place two smaller pancakes as ears on a large serving board.
07 - Use Greek yogurt and banana slices to create the snout and inner ears.
08 - Place chocolate chips or candy eyes for the eyes and nose. Use mini marshmallows or banana slices to form the outer ears.
09 - Fill the board with fresh blueberries, strawberries, maple syrup, chocolate hazelnut spread, whipped cream, and toasted coconut flakes as desired.
10 - Present immediately and allow guests to assemble or decorate their own polar bear pancakes.
