01 - 3.3 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into large chunks
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste

04 - 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
05 - 1/3 cup honey
06 - 1/4 cup beef broth
07 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 2 tablespoons tomato paste
09 - 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
10 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
11 - 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
12 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

13 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
14 - 2 tablespoons cold water
→ Garnish
15 - 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
16 - 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
# How to Make It:
01 - Generously season beef chunks with salt and black pepper.
02 - Place seasoned beef into the slow cooker.
03 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, beef broth, minced garlic, tomato paste, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ground black pepper, and red pepper flakes until combined.
04 - Pour the sauce evenly over the beef, coating all pieces.
05 - Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, until beef is extremely tender and shreds easily with a fork.
06 - Remove beef from slow cooker and shred using two forks.
07 - For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and cold water in a small bowl until fully dissolved. Add mixture to the sauce in the slow cooker, set to high, and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until thickened.
08 - Return shredded beef to the slow cooker, stir to fully coat with sauce, and allow to heat through.
09 - Plate beef and finish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
