# How to Make It:

01 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef or turkey and cook, breaking up with a spoon, until browned and no longer pink, about 4 to 5 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
02 - Add diced onion and red bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until softened.
03 - Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
04 - Add rinsed rice, frozen corn, and frozen peas to the skillet. Stir to combine evenly.
05 - Sprinkle in kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, dried oregano, and chili powder if using. Mix thoroughly.
06 - Pour in chicken or vegetable broth and bring mixture to a gentle boil.
07 - Reduce heat to low, cover skillet, and simmer for 15 to 18 minutes until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.
