# What You'll Need:

→ Jello Layers

01 - 1 (3 oz) box strawberry gelatin dessert
02 - 1 (3 oz) box orange gelatin dessert
03 - 1 (3 oz) box lemon gelatin dessert
04 - 1 (3 oz) box lime gelatin dessert
05 - 1 (3 oz) box berry blue gelatin dessert
06 - 1 (3 oz) box grape gelatin dessert
07 - 6 cups boiling water
08 - 6 cups cold water

→ Topping

09 - 2 cups whipped cream or whipped topping
10 - Rainbow sprinkles

# How to Make It:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine the grape gelatin with 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water and stir again.
02 - Distribute approximately 2 tablespoons of the prepared purple gelatin into the bottom of each clear cup. Refrigerate for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the layer is firm.
03 - Repeat the process for berry blue, lime, lemon, orange, and strawberry flavors, dissolving each box in 1 cup boiling water and 1 cup cold water. After each layer is poured into the cups, chill until firmly set before adding the next color, approximately 30 to 40 minutes per layer.
04 - Once the last layer is completely set, top each cup with whipped cream or whipped topping and rainbow sprinkles, if desired.
05 - Keep cups refrigerated until ready to serve. Offer chilled for best texture and presentation.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Building each colorful layer feels like a fun kitchen project, especially when kids get involved.
  • Bright flavors and creamy topping make each bite irresistible, even for those who claim they aren’t dessert people.
02 -
  • If you don’t let each layer set long enough, colors will blur and mix—patience really pays off.
  • Pouring Jello while it’s too hot wrecks the previous layer; let it cool to room temperature for sharp stripes.
03 -
  • Start layering early in the day—the final result looks best with ample chill time between steps.
  • Using a piping bag for whipped cream keeps the topping neat and gives each cup a party-ready look.
